Acoustic Edge Driver Settings

Philips provides a wide variety of settings within the Audio Control Panel. The primary settings (2/4/5.0/5.1 speaker mode) are intuitive and easy to configure.  Simplistic slider controls control the Center, Master, LFE, Treble, and Bass volumes. With only a few minutes of tweaking I found the best configuration for my listening tastes.

To ensure that each speaker is functioning properly in the Klipsch 5.1 system, the Speaker Test tab was useful. The straight forward test ensures that each speaker is connected and functional....we're now ready for 5.1 action!

Advanced features of the Acoustic Edge are activated through the remaining options within the driver settings. S/PDIF input/output, Reverb, QSound Environment Modeling, and MIDI settings are tweaked via the following tabs:

The numerous options may seem overwhelming at first glance, but with minimal effort (and access to the excellent blue-colored Help button on each tab) the driver settings are easily configured and ready to go.
