SETUP
Installation of the speaker system was straight forward and done without referencing the included manual. The bundled speaker wire has soldered tips to ensure perfect connections with the spring clips on each speaker. The front satellites were placed on each side of a 21" monitor, the center on top of the monitor (utilizing the rubber foot post for proper angle), and the rears approx. 5 feet behind the listener. 3 connections are required for 5.1 sound: front, rear, and center/sub analog connections. The 5.1's do not offer a digital input, which may be a drawback to some users. The final setup is the newly added feature (over the Promedia 4.1 system) called the "Control Pod" or "Control Tower". The Pod is a separate device that connects to the rear of the sub (as
all connections do) that controls system volumes. Center channel, Rear, Sub, and Master volume controls are easily changed by turning up or down the appropriate dial. A red LED displays the current volume of each (0-80).
