Midiland 8200 5.1 DD System
-Intro
Not too awfully long ago Midiland released their latest addition in the audio department. They are the Midiland 8200's. Midiland.com classifies them under the "Home Theater" section and rightfully so because this system offers 5.1 Dolby Digital. This may or may not be useful to you. If you are like me and watch DVD's on your computer or have your computer hooked up to a T.V. nearby, then this system would be great for you. With 5.1, you will recieve all the channels of sound that you would get in your local theater.
5.1 DD (Dolby Digital) is achieved with the ADS-2000 (TheTechZone reviewed it here) It can be hooked up either digitally or analog or if you are lucky enough to have an SBLive! 5.1 with the Live! Drive II, Game Theater XP or any other card with optical outs--you can hook it optically. So what makes up these speakers? The specs are next!
