With the ram sinks in hand I was trying to decide how to attach them.  It was either going to be Thermal Epoxy or Frag Tape.  I opted for Frag Tape because I felt that I would rather remove these expensive products upon getting a newer video card rather then selling or giving away this card with them attached.

Installation was a snap.  With the frag tape applied to the bottom of the heat sinks I simply placed them onto the ram chips and held them tight to make sure they wouldn't be falling off in the middle of a frag fest.

With all 8 installed I was ready to see if my money and time was going to make a difference on OC'ing.  Before this mod I was not really able to OC this card very much.  with the core and memory being aggressively clocked at 275 from the get-go and me being able to only push them up to 285'ish each prior to the mod I was looking for anything to make me happy.  With my fingers crossed I hit power and watched win2k load.  Well seeing this showed me I at least hadn't Killed the card in the process, so far so good.

I only use power strip as my overclocking tool.  With it booting at the default of 275/275 I just upped both the memory slider and core slider to 300 each and prayed.  Excellent so far so good.  Time to stress it out with running loops of 3dMark 2k1.  I put it to run the program 10 times.  I watched it the first time through looking for anything out of the ordinary and was surprised that there were none.  After letting it run its course I was surprised again that it didn't kick me out to the desktop.  OK not enough proof for me.  I set up UT jacked it up to 1600/1200 everything maxed and started playing online.  Two or so hours later I was extremely tired and just let my system sit there for another hour or so.  Everything went flawlessly.  I am extremely happy.

Well...I'm one happy guy.  Got myself a nice little OC and a sweet looking video card (to bad I just changed my case and don't have a window in it presently to so off my bitchin video card.)
