![]() The NB-30 is a pretty neat mouse. It uses RFID technology to power the battery free mouse. While the mouse itself is in deed cordless, the mousepad that the mouse HAS to stay on to be powered is not cordless. The mouse is and mousepad is very easy to install. Simply insert the USB connector into any USB port in your computer or any powered hub. Once you've hooked up the mousepad, press the TUNE button located at the top right of the mousepad and mouse away. The device draws a little too much power to be used in a non-powered USB hub. The mouse and mousepad are black and silver and the mouse glows red when powered by the mousepad. ![]() The NB-30 isn't a bad size either. It fits comfortably in your hand and and slides across it's mousepad with great ease. It's also super light weight due to it's lack of a battery. I've set it, and it's mousepad, next to my MX700 for size comparison only. It's also very stylish. The manual says that you should not use this mouse on any metal surface or desk. As it may cause the mouse to operate inaccurately. Also due to it's light weight it slides with great ease when compared to my MX700's movements. ![]()
