Final Thoughts on Antec Overture II

The Overture II is great looking case, solidly built, with excellent features . A lot of thought went into the cooling features. With today's high speed - heat producing systems,  cooling is often neglected for the sake of  looks or style. Not with the Overture II. Antec says you can have both. And to get this wonderful cooling, you don't even have to give up your peace and quiet.

You have plenty of room to work inside the case, it will hold a micro ATX or full size ATX motherboard. The Overture II has plenty has ample hard drive capacity and the hard drive cage is easily removed which makes it easy to install your drives.  The optical drive cage also removes easily, making it easy to install your optical drives.

The Overture II  is definitely a great addition to Antec's line of enclosures. While putting my system together using the Overture II the only things I noticed that might not work well for some people is the main power cable is just a little short making it hard to route around the motherboard. I had to run the main power cord across my motherboard to reach the connector. The powercord is plenty long to reach your motherboard's connector, you just might not have enough length to avoid laying the power cord across the middle of your motherboard. Also, the 3 speed switch for the 92mm in the rear of the case is located on the inside of the case, so you will need to open the case to change the fan speed setting. But, they did use thumb screws on the case panel for easy access.

My overall experience with this case was excellent. If you're in the market for a media PC enclosure, this one has the power, cooling and the looks. And it's like a pleasant throwback to the original "desktop" style of cases before the tower cases became the norm. Something different, with style!
