As soon as I opened the retail box, I knew this was no ordinary power supply. This big guy weighs in at a hefty 6.65Lbs. The Phantom is a really nice looking power supply. The unit is flat black, and the top and bottom has grooves like a heatsink to help dissipate heat. Also in the box I found the power cable, 24 pin to 20 pin adapters, screws and a nice manual.
Notice all the extra connectors. It's nice to have plenty of connectors for extra fans , drives and etc.
Let's have a closer look at these connectors. As you can see in the pictures above, The main atx power connector is sleeved in a braided black mesh tubing .It has five regular molex connections, two floppy drive connectors, four SATA connectors, a PCI-E connector, as well as a 4 pin and 8 pin +12v connectors . |
