And there it is. Looks pretty cool doesn't it! The switches control the fans, red is full speed, blue is low speed and no light means the fan is off. So here you have a useful device and one that fits in quite well with case modding. Below you see my case at night and with the lights off. I like it!

Final Thoughts~

Initially I thought this would be difficult to put together, but I was wrong. The drilling was easy and stripping and then attaching the wires is very simple. Then It really was very easy. Yes it takes a little bit of work but once you finish you have something very useful and something that adds a nice cool touch to your case. When not doing anything to run your system at 100% you can finally have peace and quiet. Yet when you need that extra cooling, you simply flick the switches. And then sound doesn't usually matter. Pros~

Cons~

At first I used an Antec 350w power supply. I connected fans one at a time to be sure all was stable and ok. Once I got to the third fan I started getting system instability; random lockups and reboots. Changed to a 400w power supply, all was just fine with all six fans and on either high or low speed. So please consider this, you might need at least a 400w power supply. Then I could turn the fans on high or low and had zero problems.
