Installing hardware is this case is easy and very effortless. The light weight of the chassis makes it easy to move around and position all your gear. The motherboard and power supply went in without a hitch, and had a surprising amount of room despite the size of the case. I removed the hard drive cage, which made a quick job of setting up the hard drive.

The case comes supplied with drive rails to attach to the left side of your optical drives. The front drive bay covers have locking tabs so all you have to do is release them and slide your drives right into place. A gentle "click" lets you know that the drive is locked in. If you are like me, and move your computers from place to place quite a bit, you may want to secure the drives with an additional screw on the right hand side once the drive is in place.

Right below the drive bay door, you may have noticed a smaller door. Flip this little guy up and you expose front usb 2.0 hookups and a firewire port. This is a real nice feature for plugging you camcorder, digicam etc.. right into the front without having to go behind the case. To use these features your motherboard must have the headers to support them. Most motherboards nowadays support the additional usb ports, and many are now including firewire as well.

Final Thoughts~

This case delivers exactly what it promises and then some. It's lightweight, easy to work on and tote around. The airflow is superb, and having the fans directly over the cpu and video card is something overclockers and gamers can both appreciate. The case is sturdy and packed with a bunch of cool little features that make it easy to work on your system.

Pros:

  • Light weight (Aluminum)
  • Front access for usb and firewire
  • Good looking and functional
  • Fans can be installed above cpu and video card
  • Nice Large Window
  • Door to cover drives
  • Storage for screws and misc
  • Cons:

  • Case is a little louder then steel cases
  • No removable motherboard tray
  •
