All edges are rolled so you do not need to worry about cutting your fingers. The 3.5 drive cage is removable and that makes it a bit easier to install yourt hard drives and floppy. Only thing missing here is a place for an 80mm fan to help cool the hard drive(s). But since this is a small case, there is no room for one. There is, however, a place for a lower front 80mm intake fan to help bring in cool air. And this case has nice large front vents, unlike many cases which have tiny front air vents.

Above you see the front with the door open. I use to not like the front door idea, but I think it really gives a case a more professional look. Plus if you have various colored drives, it helps to hide them. Cd, DVD, CDRW drives install quite simply. First attach one rail (see pic below right) on the right side (facing the case) and if you wish you can screw in the other side. I've found using screws are not necessary. Though if you plan to take it to lan parties, then do secure the drives better with screws.

Taking a look at the front of the case, look below where the floppy drives go. You'll see what looks like a little door. Which is exactly what that is. The picture above shows you have two usb ports and one firewire port. The case does have the appropriate wires necessary to connect to the motherboard. Of course your motherboard needs to have those connections.

Since this case is also made for those who may take it to lan parties, included is a bracket that fits around a power supply to better secure those heavy and expensive power suplies.

Notice where that side fan goes. Almost directly in line with where the cpu fan is. This way you can bring in cool air instead or re-circulating warm or hot air. Using an 80mm fan there I did notice a good 1-2 c drop in temps. Not shabby.

Installing the motherboard and peripherals in this case was a breeze. And actually quite fun! Since it is so light, moving it around was certainly easy. And check out how cool it looks with everything installed. No fans or lights are includes so you can customize that part to any color scheme you wish.

Final Thoughts~

This case is made by Chinming and has about the same exact interior as the LanBoy case. With this version you get a larger side window, a place to fit a side 80mm fan and a different front bezel. Plus you can choose the color you want. This is the Silver version but ePowerHousePC also has it available in Blue and in Black colors.

If you are looking for a new and light case then this is one to certainly consider. It is feature packed from the large side window, a place for a side 80mm fan (and it points towards the cpu fan), places for 1 intake and 1 rear exhaust 80mm fans, front usb and firewire ports and even a locking removable sided panel. It is very well constructed and has the look and feel of quality. And it will not give you a hernia when moving it around.

Pros~Cons~

Many thanks to Terry over at ePowerHousePC for making this review possible. Direct Link to the Silver version of this case. Or go Here for the other colors that are available.
