Installation of the components was really easy. The case is nice and open with enough room to get everything in smoothly. All of the mounting hardware was supplied. This case came with a 350W PSU which would be enough power for the average PC user. One downfall was that it only included 4 - 4 pin molex connectors and 1 floppy connector. for most people this would be enough, but I'll be powering 5 fans 3 HDD's and a DVD-ROM so I removed this and installed a 400W PSU so I could power everything up. Below is a picture of the label on the PSU. Notice that is has a rated 200W across the 3.3V and 5V rails so it sounds like its a rather solid PSU and should be more than enough power for the faster chips that are out presently. It also has the P4 connector for you Intel freaks.

Final Thoughts...

Overall Koolcases has a darn nice case with the Chameleon. The lighted front really stands out, slap in a cold cathode so that the inside glows and your set! It has a lot of room for expansion, more than enough places to mount fans (4 in the lower front, 2 in the rear and 1 side fan, 7 in all) for cooling, and its made of aluminum! What more could a PC Abuser ask for? :)

The only thing I could find that has room for improvement is the pressed in grills where the fans are mounted. They seem to restrict air flow quite a bit and with holes that small they will be quick to clog up with dust and lint that is floating around in the air. And once this happens and there is no air coming into the case things start running hot!

A big thanks goes out to Koolcases for allowing us to review this fine case!
