Water cooling has been around for a while now but its only been a couple years since we seen the first complete kit come out on the market. Until then people were piecing kits together with heater cores out of cars, aquarium pumps and making custom water blocks. Water cooling all got started when overclocking really took off. With water you can have a virtually silent cooling setup and the ability to cool a lot more effeciently than with the traditional active coolers most commonly used.
For the last month I've been able to check out the Thermaltake Aquarius II. It is a complete kit including everything that you will need to get setup with water cooling. Its mainly designed for the Xaser II and III line of cases and also works well with the Chenming cases that are so common and its the same exact case as the Xaser II.
Kit Includes~
- 1 Water Pump
- 1 Radiator with Fan Attached
- 1 External Resivoir
- K7, K8 and P4 mounting hardware
- Plenty of hose
- 1 Bottle of Coolant
- 4 Springs
- Various other pieces such as hose clamps, magnets, and screws
