The Test:

This unit was tested on an MSI 645 Ultra motherboard, Intel Pentium 4 1.6a (Northwood), 512 MB PC 2100 DDR, Radeon 8500. Tests were run at 100, 133, and 150 FSB. Voltage was 1.45 for 100 FSB, 1.54 for 133 and 150 FSB Temperatures were taken with Sisoft Sandra and the internal MSI monitoring progam. Temperatures were taken after 30 minutes with no load, and after 30 minutes running Folding@Home 2.0 (load). These results are compared to previous tests using the stock Intel heatsink and Dr. Thermal TI-V8639L.

Throughout all 3 tests, the pattern seems to remain the same. The EasyStream easily keeps up with the stock Intel cooler - at times slightly outperforming it. However, it is nowhere close to that of a performance cooler like the Dr. Thermal. The biggest difference in performance between the EasyStream and the Dr. Thermal can be seen at 100FSB (default speed). However at higher speeds, the EasyStream does hold its own.
