431 watts is a lot but that much is needed when we do have all the toys. Most of our systems have a lot of cooling fans but one that has usually gone overlooked in the past is the loudness from the power supply fan(s). Here some of us have our case fans controlled to sound quiet and the last thing we need is a loud fan from our power supply interrupting our peace. Enermax has a pleasant solution to this problem, they added an adjustable fan control on the back (see above picture). This allows you to manually adjust the fan speed anywhere from 1500 - 2500 rpm. And of course in doing so that effects the cooling as well as the sound. I've found that anything under 2000 rpm, I don't hear.
About the custom mods:

Included with this power supply was the addition of a blue lighted fan in the rear. I like blue so Performance-PCs made sure about everything was blue. Since the fan is manually adjustable that also effects the power of the blue light. Above left is with the fan on high while on the right is on low. How many of us have our case with the rear showing I don't know. I have mine with the rear close to a wall and the lighted fan gives off a nice blue tint on the white wall. Just a nice added touch.

Notice above the cables, you have everything that you will need. The P4 cables, 10 4-pin connectors (all gold plated terminals) and 2 floppy connectors. And as you can see, the cables are LONG. No problems fitting them in the largest of cases.
Also notice the power cables and how they are wrapped in beautiful 100% nylon Nitro Blue Techflex sleeving and premium heatshrink. This is a custom job professionally performed by Performance-PCs. Now that will make things look far neater and better looking in any case. Looking at the cables close up, the job done on them is very professional.

Above shows the back side of the power supply. Gives you a better look at one of the elegant looking gold fan grill and the large vents as well as the mesh covered cables. And the actual casing of the power supply, this isn't a boring silver color as most are and is painted a Navy Blue from Enermaz. Now that I like! A blue power supply, blue cables and a blue lighted fan, we just might be on to something here. :D
