Most keyboards have the leds on the right side but the Zippy has them on the left side. And very useful buttons on the right side. Above you see the the button for on/off, sleep and power. Having an on/off button is great for obvious reasons. You can turn the light on or off whenever you wish. And I am becoming very attached to that power button. Just touch it and your system will shut off. That's so much easier.

Above you notice a key labled "FN". That key, if pressed wih the num lock button, turns on the num lock. That makes the keys U, J, M, J, K, L and M function as a number pad. Along with the P key which becomes the minus key and the colon key which becomes the plus key. Notice the keypad below with the blue letters on the keys. The num lock key is also labled for scroll lock. Pressing it by itself enables scroll lock, naturally.

Final Thoughts~
Since this is a small keyboard, it does take getting use to. At first I found myself striking the wrong keys quite often. But once I was more acclimated to it, my mistakes became less and less. And I love having the extra space on my desk.
The short keystrokes is another thing that may take some getting use to. But I like that, and it makes for less stressful typing. The light is a nice-soft Aqua color. It is bright so you'll have no problem reading the keys in the dark. And if your fingers are larger than average, you may have difficulty typing mistake-free. My fingers are not small, but I did have to be more precise when typing.
Pros
- The light makes it so much easier to see in the dark
- Pleasant Aqua colored light
- The on/off button
- The addition of "power" and "sleep" buttons
- Height adjustment feet
- Short keystrokes
- Sleek silver color with white keys
- Low price when compared to the competition
- The small and slim size leaves you plenty of desk room
- Great for lan parties and on the road
Cons~
- Might be too small for some people, especially those with larger fingers
- Dust and crumbs can get under the keys
All things considered, this Zippy EL-610 kb is a winner! From the short keystrokes to the useful buttons and of course to the light. And oh that light. Struggling and squinting to find the right keys in the dark is now a thing of the past. I prefer blue, but I admit this Aqua color is very pleasant to look at. Once you get use to having a lighted keyboard, I don't think you can go back to a normal one. At least, you'll not want too.
