Ever try and type at night or in a dark room? Of course you have. Whether it be gaming or just having the lights down low because it's easier on the ole eyes when looking at that monitor, we all have experienced the squinting of our eyes when 'trying' to type or game in the dark. Remember those missed frags (or getting fragged) and typing what appears to be new foreign language. A lighted keyboard is also great for those who give presentations which are usually in darkened rooms.
There are very few lighted keyboards on the market. We've reviewed two of them before and one was the mini Zippy EL-610. It's a great little lighted keyboard but it is about the size of a laptop keyboard, and with no key pad. Many of us need and want a full sized keyboard. Zippy has heard us and now they've introduce the full-sized Zippy EL-715 with "Electron Luminescence Design".
