| Final Thoughts:
There could be a lot of variables here as to why the 5v line dropped like it did. One could be the Epox 8K3A+ which known to raise hell with the 5v line. It could be that I have too much stuff in this case for the PSU to handle when doing heavy overclocking. Problems aside, this is one fine looking power supply. The black color definitely complimented my black Chieftec case (especially since it has a window). The Tri Lite LED fans are a nice touch. This is definitely a PSU that looks very sweet in a case with a window. At night time it had a nice glow to it.
I think overall, Raidmax has done a commendable job with this PSU. Aside from the voltage problem that occurs when overclocking, the only other shortcoming was the fans. When a PSU is equipped with LED fans, you would think the fans would be wired for a steady 12v so that the LEDs would shine at their brightest. As it is, they do put off a nice glow. But personally, I'd rather see them brighter and put up with a little extra noise. After all its meant for a modded case; as many of you know if there is a modded case, there is more than likely a ton of noise that comes along with it.
I'd like to thank Terry at ePOWERHOUSE PC for sending us this PSU. If you would like to purchase one for yourself, you can do so here
