A knockout or a Let Down?

Test System-

Ambient temps were kept at 69 degrees. For testing I ran with the side panel off on a Stonex non-overclocking case. To get max load I ran Return to Castle Wolfenstein at 1600x1200x32 with all the toys on for 30-45 minutes. Idle temp was achieved by waiting 15 minutes after booting. Arctic Alumina was applied between the heatink and cpu.

final thoughts-

As you can see it ain't shabby at all! In fact the Senfu is one of the better heatsinks you can get for cpu cooling and for overclocking. The all-copper heatsink and the 36cfm output from the fan are the keys of course. And the Senfu is by far one of the better looking cpu coolers I've ever seen. If you either keep your side panel off or have a case window then the Senfu will make you proud. Kinda like how car owners use to be proud of that chrome air filter cover. Then include the built-in slot for a temp sensor and you have yourself the complete package here. And of course the 3 prong clip. Major, major kudos to any heatsink maker that includes that. And the bargain price of just $19.99 makes it even that much better. Only bad thing I can think of is that fan, it's too loud. rated at 43.26 decibels it has that annoying high-pitched sound that many heatsinks that include a delta fan have. Replaced with a far quieter fan off a volcano II(thanks nexus_7) the cooling was just about as good, maybe 1-3 degrees higher at most.
pros cons
With our PCA rating scale I give it a:

< 9.1 out of 10 >

Thanks again to our buds at HighSpeed PC for supplying us with this fine cpu cooler. Direct link to the $19.99 Senfu.

Please note: Your temp readings may vary depending on your system setup, the ambient temp, how you apply heatsink compound and even how cold your floor is. If you keep it on the floor as I do.
