A Closer Look (cont.):
Here's a look at the case without it's cover on. We see the cross beam that is used for a cooling fan to assist in cooling your Video card and it also assists in providing cool air to the CPU. When we open the cross bar we see that there are some push pins that can be used to hold your AGP/PCI cards in place to prevent them from moving. Alos to the left of the fan holder there is a spot to mount an extra hard drive or possibly some other type of 3.5" device. If we look inside the front part of the case we see the section for the optional 120mm fan. It's important to note that you can either have a 120mm fan, or you can have 3 external 5.25" drives.

Now we'll focus our attention on the other side of the case. Here we see room for an optional HD cooling fan. You simply pop the fan in place and push the holder back into position. As we can also see, this case comes with a removable mobo tray which made for exceptionally easy installation of the mobo, CPU, and HSF.

This case accomodates up to (6) 5.25" drives through the use of a non-removable drive cage. The cage is mounted behind the intake fan which pulls cool air into the case via the means of the optional 120mm fan. Removing the face plate is the to mount the 120mm fan is very easy. You just remove the lock pins and pull it off. Then once you're done installing the fan simply reinsert the pins and it's locked again. Here we can see that the CD-ROM used just slides in and locks in place.

Installation for the motherboard was very easy due to the removable mobo tray. Simply slide the plastic fasteners (same as on the back of the case) and pop out the tray. Installation of your 5.25" drives is also simple due to the tooless drive bays. Simply attach the provided slats to your drives and push them in and you're ready to go.

If we look behind the face plate we see the a door covering the two main 3.5" internal enclosures. The door opens to allow for tooless installation of two internal 3.5" internal drives.

Lets take another look toward the back of the case and we'll visit the screwless card lock system that SilverStone has incorporated into this case. Simply slide the locks toward yourself to install a card, then away from yourself to lock it in place.
