Here we get a look at the back of the Skyhawk IMC6375. The back IO panel consists of two ps/2 ports for mouse and keyboard support, a VGA port for the onboard Intel Extreme 2 graphics, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a firewire port, ethernet, and audio plugs for the onboard sound.

The stamped and punched out area provides an outlet for the cpu heatpipe. The power supply fan hole is completely cut out, so airflow is not restricted. Skyhawk has taken a lot of measures to make sure the little box stays nice nice and cool.

The included power supply is very quiet. It seems to be getting the job done with the components of our build, the computer has been subjected to a torture test for 2 weeks and not had a single hang up or lockup. Folding@home as well as prime 95 torture tests have been continuously run. With only 10amps on the 12volt rail- if you plan to use the agp slot for a power hungry video card, i would suggest upgrading to the optional 300 watt model.

Our test configuration consists of :

  • Celeron 2.8 cpu
  • 512 megs of pc2700 (dual channel 2x256)
  • Pioneer dvd-rw burner
  • Western digital 7200rpm 120 gig hard drive
