Here we take a look at the inside construction. The motherboard, wiring and internal features of the Skyhawk. As in all SFF Pcs, work areas are tight, but for the most part components have been logically placed to get all these features packing into a small box. Above you can see the two serial ata and two Ide connectors. Serial ata wires being thin are very easy to route in this pc. As for IDE, Skyhawk was nice enough to include rounded and sleeved IDE cables, thus allowing for easy routing as well.

Above you can also get a good look at the cpu socket placement. A duct for the heat pipe sits right below the PSU, therefore most hot air is ducted out , or sucked out by the psu threw the rear of the case.

Last but certainly not least is the CMOS jumper. Its located in a place relatively handy for builders to reach, which all of us abusers know is an absolute must.

In all the previous pictures above, Id like to point out that all the motherboard headers were pre wired and zip tied from the factory, this cuts down on aggravation and build time significantly. The picture above illustrates this attention to detail, the psu/MB atx connection is sleeved and channeled through the frame of the case, keeping it out of the way, and keeping the builder from wondering where to put it.

The hard drive mounting could not be any easier. Twist out one thumb screw and the hardrive caddy can be slid out. put a couple screws in each side of the hardrive and you are ready to go. Slide it back into place and connect power and ide or sata.
