Remember those golden days of the immortal 300a and the original Golden Orb. The Golden Orb was one if not the most popular cpu cooler's for helping to overclock the 300a t0 450mhz or above. Thermaltake brings back the Orb with the all-new Golden Orb II to help cool down the newer cpu's from the Pentium 4's to the new AMD 64 processors.

At 752 g the Golden Orb II is no lightweight. But with the newer mounting systems the weight should be of no problem. At a rated 1600RPM fan speed and just over 35CFM the ORB II is meant as a "Quiet" cpu cooling solution. But does it stack up to it's predecessor and does it suffeciently cool down todays heaters..err..processors. We shall find that out.
