With our computers getting more and more powerful along with power hungry peripherals like video cards, and not to mention all the assorted mods, lights and fans we all have, there is one thing that we sometimes overlook, the power supply. Now imagine a power supply made specifically for us overclockers. One that you can easily adjust voltage outputs and even fan speed and do so from the front of your case. What's that, there isn't one? Well there is now. Introducing the TrueControl 550 from Antec. Basically it's like a modded TruePower power supply.
From Antec:
TrueControl is a 550 Watt TruePower power supply with a special external control panel that gives you the flexibility to adjust the main output voltages and minimum fan settings for peak performance. So the power supply can provide more cooling or less noise, plus precise output voltages for maximum stability.
With TrueControl, YOU take control of your computing environment. That's the Power of You.
Specs~
- TrueControl control panel installs in 5.25" drive bay and still supports a 3.5" drive. Adjust voltage outputs and minimum fan speed from the front of your case.
- User-adjustable, individual dedicated circuits for main +3.3V, +5V, and +12V outputs.
- Dedicated output circuitry for each voltage output, overcomes the limitations of combined output of traditional design. Get all the power you need when you need it most.
- Voltage Feedback to maintain accurate voltage to all components: adds stability to your system
- Antec Low Noise Technology achieves the optimum balance between noise reduction and necessary cooling.
- ATX12V for AMD and Intel based systems including P4.
- Two double ball bearing fans.
- Gold plated connectors.

As you can see the TrueControl 550 is packaged very well. Once opened you see the control panel encased in stiff foam, then remove the panel you find the power supply and power cord. Also inclusded is a nice instruction manual.
