In this day and age of hot processors and overclocking, many of us have several fans in our case to help keep things cool. And fans that put out more are are noisy. So we need something to control those noisy fans. Something to make them quiet when doing something that doesn't cause as much heat, like net surfing. And spin faster under load, like when playing the latest games. A possible solution we'll be going over is the Nexus NXP-205 from Vantec. It fits in a 3.5" bay.

Features~
- 4 Channel Fan Controller
- Adjustable Fan Speed Knob
- Aluminum "U" Type Housing
- Ultra Bright Blue LED Lights
- Each Channel Supports Up to 18 Watts
- Fits In A Standard 3.5" Drive Bay
- No Need to Cut Wires Like Other Fan Controller. Just Plug The Cable In
- Great for Vantec Tornado or Other High CFM Fans
Nexus Fan Controller is only recommended for constant speed fans. Do not use on any CPU fans, thermal controlled fans or adjustable speed fans.
Specs~
- Housing Material: Aluminum
- Max Power Per Channel: 18 W
- Input Voltage: 12 V
- Output Voltage: 7v - 12v
- Output current: up to 1.5 A
- Dimension: 102 x 25.5 x 120 mm

*The Nexus NXP-205 is available in either Silver or Black.
Use only one fan per channel. DO NOT exceed more than 18W per channel.

As you can see, the Nexus NXP-205 glows a nice soft blue around the control knobs. No blinding leds at all. They stay the same and do not get brighter or dimmer depending on the fan speed. Adds a nice "cool" touch.
