As the processor speed and power requirements for computers starts to ramp up the need for higher powered PSU's is becoming greater. I can remember when a 150W supply would be more than enough but by todays standards wouldn't power a toaster oven anymore. Cooling these big PSU's is a big issue, cause the more power you consume the more heat it will generate.
Today I'll be running the Vantec Stealth 420W PSU through the tests. Its available in 3 different sizes with the 420W being the smallest and the 520W being the largest. The housing of this PSU of aluminum painted black and has 3 - 80mm fans to keep this bad boy cool....
Features:
- 3 Speed Thermal Fan Control Switch
- 3 Temperature Controlled Dual Ball Bearing Fans
- Universal Connector Fits Most of Branded Mainboards
- Additional AC Output For Peripheral
- Lightweight Black Aluminum Casing
- Electric-Shock-Free Protection
- Over Voltage Protection
- Over Current Protection
- Short Circuit Protection
- ATX 12 V
- Low Noise Level

Below is the label and it shows all specs for all 3 Stealth PSU's. As you can see the 420W supply has more than enough power for today's power hungry PC's
