As you can see Vantec packages this PSU with everything you would need. The power cord, some zip ties to tie up the cables for that nice clean look, some screws, and a ATX adapter. Now your thinkin' "ATX adapter" aren't you? This PSU was designed to be a universal supply. The connector for the motherboard isn't the standard 20 pin ATX connector. It is a 24 pin designed for server motherboards according to Vantec. So they have included a 24 to 20 pin adapter so that this supply will work with all of the desktop motherboards out there as well.

One thing I really loved about this PSU was the amount of 4 pin molex connectors that it had. There's a total of 10 - 4 pin and 2 floppy 4 pin molex connectors. So there are plenty of connectors to power all of those fans and hard drives in your computer. It also comes equiped with your standard P4 12v connector, a auxillary connector and one other that I'm not really to sure on what it is for.

The cooling on this supply is something to be desired. Most power supply's only have 2 fans and that is if your lucky and can afford a good one. This one however has a total of 3! 1 in the rear, the front and the bottom. And as a added bonus, you can control the speed of these fans! On the back of the supply there is a switch to set the fans at low, high, or auto which is temperature controlled. I played around with this for a while and Auto definately is the quietest of the bunch. Low made a little more noise but when put on high those 3 fans make some serious noise and definately moved the air around! Case temp wise I seen no difference in the case temp. Probably because of the fact that there is 5 case fans in the case so air flow is already very good.

If you'll notice in the picture above there is something really sweet about this power supply. Vantec has included a 3 prong receptacle on it. Now for you guys with water cooling units that need to be plugged in this will work really well. Cause when the power for the pc goes off so does whatever is plugged into that plug. You could pretty much plug anything into it. Some might choose to put their monitor on it or nothing at all, but it is definately nice to have that spare plug.
