First Impression:

Voyeurmods did a great job packing this case out for shipment. The case came packed with the standard styrofoam pieces and packing peanuts on the sides to protect the case's finish. There was a layer of plastic covering the windows to protect it from scratches. Even the fan mods below the window were covered with paper. The cables and cathode light were taped securely inside the case. The front bezel also had a protective layer plastic on it. All in all, the case arrived well protected as it should be.

The first thing that I noticed about this case was its high gloss paint job. There isn't enough I could say about how well Voyeurmods did painting this. I was able to see reflections shining off the top of the case. The window and fans mods on the side panel was done very professionally. Holes were clean cut and smooth. The window wasn't mounted using a rubber seal (like that of many premodded cases). Instead, Voyeurmods installed the window using rivets giving it a more professional look. The fans below the windows are Quad LED lights (fairly bright when on) mounted in conjunction with some very nice lazer cut alien head grills. This is definitely a top notch mod job.

A look at the front bezel reveals a dual LCD temperature monitor display which, unlike the other Vexx cases, comes standard with the Alien Limited Edition. The lower portion of the case has a flap that reveals a couple of USB 2.0 compliant ports for people who don't like going around the back of their PC to plug in their devices. A closer inspection of what's behind this flap also shows that there are cut-outs for firewire and sound jacks next to these USB ports. It's quite a shame that those weren't utilized because I, for one, would have loved to have a firewire port in the front of my case.

The back of the case is somewhat Plain Jane. The one thing that REALLY bothers me about it is the fact that is doesn't have an 80mm or 90mm fan slot. With all the air that gets pushed into this case, such a small fan mount does not cut it. Luckily, some vents on the other side panel helps this a bit. Let's take a look at what's inside the case.
