Now with temp sufficently raised, I opened the blowhole and continued to monitor the temps inside.

The results were quite favorable in my opinion

After running with the blowhole open for three hours the temperature dropped down below the three hour temps for the idle system. Even more impressive is that after six hours the readings were below any of the idle system temps.

But before I continue with the praises on how well this case has done getting rid of the heat, I should point out that there is a down side to this.
