Zalman - CNPS6500A-AICu Socket 423 & 478 Intel Pentium 4 Processor HeatsinkFan

Zalman Tech Co., LTD. a Korean based company that has taken an innovative, yet back to basics design approach to Heatsinkfan design. By using a basic law of physics approach to cooling processors, Zalman has gone to the next step by providing more surface area to the heatsink than the common heatsink. Zalman has instituted a "Flower HeatSink" design that maximizes the amount of surface area to dissipate heat away from our precious processors. For this design, Zalman has coined the phrase: "Zalman - the leader in the noiseless coolers" both on their product packaging and on their website
What's in the Box:
Included in the product's retail package is a plethora of goodies I would have never even expect from a heatsink purchase. Incidentally, I would like to thank the fine folks at CoolerGuys for providing us with this HSF for review.
Inside I found all this:
- 1 Flower HeatSink made of copper and aluminum
- 1 92mm FAN & Bracket
- 1 Adjustable Fan Speed Connector (FAN MATE 1)
- 4 Each: Flower Heat Sink bolts (21mm) & (17mm)
- 4 Bolts For installing the Nipples (8mm)
- 3 Each: (1") Bolts E (mm style)
- 4 Tapered Springs
- 4 Nipples (spacers)
- 1 Thermal Grease syringe
- 1 Pack of spare components (1) 21mm bolt, (1) 17mm bolt, (1) 8mm bolt (1) Tapered spring - Nice touch ! Especially if you are clumsy like me and often drop things and sometimes have a darned time finding them.
- 1 User's Manual. Very good and detailed and it helps relay the general process of the installation. The only thing I would have liked is a little larger print or size of the manual. Maybe my age is showing.
