What the box suggests is you take the Heat Spreaders and place them right on your SDR or DDR ram. If it is double sided you have two options. You can either attach each spreader to the ram for a life time with the thermal tape or you can attach them with the Ram clips. But if your Dimm is single sided you really have to attach it with the thermal tape or risk scratching the back of your Dimm from the metal clip.
Talk about all the options you get two Blue ram sinks in each package. CoolerGuys supplied us with 2 packages(or kits). You can Stick them on a single sided Dimm (or with two kits double sided ram), you can place one heat spreader and both the ram sinks on a Dimm, stick them on your video card with all the ram on one side (or with two kits double sided video card "DDR"), and if you want you can place them on any HOT chip in your system that has the room.

~WHAT I THINK~
These kits are totally awesome! I mean what can I say, it cools your Ram both system memory and video card ram. Does it Really help? Yep, it sure does. With my system I was now able to get a extra 4Mhz out of my Front Side Bus. Now how's about that Video card cooling...lets see I got my Kyro II up to 190 GPU/RAM up from 180Mhz and it is running flawless. I would call this a success. So if you are looking for a little extra oomph in your system and you think cooling is what is needed head right over to COOLER GUYS for your RAM & other cooling needs.
I hope you enjoyed my review and found this informative.
